“YyTaamba” is the aboriginal name given to Carol

 by Her Aunt Betty King and means noisy running water.

Carol Horton is an International artist in her own right.  She has worked tirelessly to establish the “YyTaamba” name and has also found time to organize the construction of a Gallery as well as produce much of the gallery's exhibits. “YyTaamba” is the aboriginal name given to Carol by Aunt Betty King from Lake Condor. “YyTaamba” means noisy running water.  You can find Carol's works of art in homes in Canada, Zimbabwe, Germany, Japan and in many states across the United States of America.

 

Carol was born in Deloraine Tasmania and together with Husband Hank work in the tourism industry to the betterment of the Aboriginal community. Carol is the daughter of Geoff & Isie Horton. Isie & Carol are of the "Trawoolway" People from the North East of Tasmania.
